COMIC: Charlie Hebdo – Love is stronger than hate.

This is the cover of Charlie Hebdo after its offices were firebombed in 2011, showing a Charlie Hebdo cartoonist kissing a Muslim man in front the rubble of its offices.:

I created this week's comic in tribute to this remarkable cartoon.

And in memoriam of the 17 people who lost their lives.

HOW TO RESPOND TO SATIRE-SPURRED TERRORISM: HOW TO DRAW GOD-MAN

I'm horrified by the tragic events in France today.  The only response I've got to violence against satire is more satire, and maybe that's the best response.  Here is a comic I drew in 2010 after the violence in response to cartoons depicting Muhammad published in the Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten.

It is of course futile to say, but my thoughts are with the victims and their families.
