Going to the New York City Comic Con this weekend? Please do come by and say hello tomorrow (Friday) from 3:00-4:00 at the GoComics booth (#2219)! I'll be:

signing free large archival-quality bird-cage-discouraged prints of a Tom the Dancing Bug comic. Free!
selling rare Tom the Dancing Bug books (pictured above) for just $10 (far below ebay prices)
giving away a book to anyone who can answer an impossible Tom the Dancing Bug trivia question
leaving (departing at 4:00) for a beer with any reader(s) or non-reader(s) who would like to join me, to talk about the comic strip, comics, movies, politics or wombats.

Rockin' Riboflavin,

RECOMMONDAY

My kids and I just loved WHEN YOU REACH ME, by Rebecca Stead. It's much more than just an excellent, naturalistic story about very believable sixth-graders living in New York City in the late 70s and their relationships, althought it would have been enough at that.  I can't say how much more it is without revealing amazing spoilers, and there… I've already said too much.
