That's right, it's Astronaut Academy Day! The second book, Re-Entry, comes out today.
My kids don't just like these books, they love them.

CODE MONKEY SAVE WORLD!
I've signed on to Greg Pak and Jonathan Coulton's "Code Monkey Save World" wildly successful, groundbreaking Kickstarter project. Their goal was to raise $39,000 to create a graphic novel based on Jonathan's songs, and they've currently raised over $280,000!
My involvement: I've agreed that if they reach their stretch goal of $300,000 (!!) by this Wednesday, I'll create a page of Super-Fun-Pak-type comics to be included in the graphic novel.
Fun!

GWEEK 095
Had a great time yesterday recording this latest installment of the Gweek Podcast with Mark Frauenfelder and Nate DiMeo. Click here for info and/or to listen.
In addition to the stuff Mark listed in his post, I also recommended and discussed the Comedy Bang Bang podcast. As a side note, I suspect that in so doing, I mispronounced Scott Aukerman's name, but I can't be bothered to listen to find out.
